Robi Stanton, Executive Director of Turner International Australia said, "Cartoon Network and Boomerang have pioneered some of Australia's most exciting multi-platform and results-oriented campaigns for clients. Both brands are experiencing phenomenal growth, particularly online, so the timing is ideal for MCN to join us in raising the bar even higher. MCN enjoys an expansive national sales footprint and this, together with their expertise in creative and integrated solutions, makes the MCN team an ideal partner."

MCN CEO Anthony Fitzgerald said MCN's representation of the Cartoon Network and Boomerang will give advertisers a one-stop-shop for youth targeting across television and online.

"We are delighted to add these two premium youth entertainment brands to our MCN offering. Cartoon Network and Boomerang offer advertisers the perfect environment to reach kids on multiple platforms, engaging with them in relevant ways to achieve better cut-through.

"With our existing youth focused television and online channels such as Channel V, FOX8, FUEL TV, Habbo.com and mykidscotv.com/au in the online space, MCN now holds the largest share of youth audience amongst the Australian television networks," said Mr Fitzgerald.

"Adding the Cartoon Network and Boomerang to MCN's stable makes MCN the number one kids' network for subscription television. We look forward to working in close partnership with the Turner team to bring even more engaging opportunities to our clients and advertisers."
