This year, the forum is preceded by The Future of Brands, focusing on growing brands through marketing and will explore, among other things, the impact of voice marketing, developments in loyalty marketing and the growth of social e-commerce. A number of leading brands are confirmed as speakers, including Jaguar Land Rover Australia, Kellogg’s, L’Oréal, Seek, Invicus Games, and Ovo Mobile.
Across two days of debate, problem-solving and networking, (February 27 -28) you can review the big picture on brands, the state of media planning and the role of TV in delivering growth to marketers. The event also asks whether we are heading for a media effectiveness and brand health crisis, fuelled by short-termism (including cost cutting) and sub-optimal planning. It investigates the future of agencies, including how they add value in the face of increasing competition (from the likes of Deloitte and PwC) and the viability of a pure service-oriented fees structure - and whether this would improve transparency.
