Network Ten’s hit version of the world’s greatest game is getting bigger: Australian Survivor will return to three nights a week on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 7.30pm.
The increased content kicks in on 17 September and comes as the series heads for its incredible live finale and reunion show during October.
The return to three nights a week is in response to viewer demand and will maximise audience numbers in the final month of the show.
So far this year, Australian Survivor has captured a capital-city total audience of about 790,000. In its timeslot, it ranks #2 among people 25 to 54 and #2 in under 55s, plus #2 in Melbourne in total people.
The series is also resonating strongly with Australians online and on social media. On tenplay, Australian Survivor had recorded 6.53 million video segment views as at 3 September, an 8% increase compared with the same point in the 2016 series, and 1.77 million video starts (up 12%).
On social media, Australian Survivor has seen a significant increase in the level of engagement and interaction. In its fourth week on air, it saw a 1.2 million total weekly organic post reach on Facebook, up 167% on week four of the 2016 series, and more than 13,500 total post engagements (up 21%).
