Case Study - Nintendo DAL

Nintendo DAL

Nintendo

TIMING
April 26 - May 23

COMMUNICATION OBJECTIVES
Communicate all the new features of the Nintendo DSi, as well as drive awareness and purchase intent,

SOLUTION
Nintendo launched a Dedicated Advertiser Location (DAL) allowing viewers the opportunity to press red during a regular 30 second TVC to access more information and a 5 minute video about the features of the new Nintendo DSi. As an incentive for those that interact, Nintendo is also giving away ten Nintendo DSi consoles.

"We are pleased to be partnering with MCN in the launch of their latest Interactive Product. The new Nintendo DSi console is packed with a whole range of exciting features that are hard to communicate in just 30 seconds, so being able to offer interested viewers over 5 minutes of content gives them the opportunity to get the information they want without leaving the couch. Given Nintendo's history of constantly pushing the boundaries of innovation and design, the DAL was the perfect communications vehicle for the Nintendo DSi."
