COMMUNICATION OBJECTIVES

Hyundai has a strong association with World Football and wanted to promote this association whilst engaging in the passion felt by fans. 

FOX SPORTS was given the challenge to develop an integrated competition that would encourage football fans to share their passion by submitting a photo, video, drawing or song at www.ilovefootball.com.au

Hyundai provided great prizes including:

  • Monthly prizes: each month for 5 months a panel selected one lucky winner who received a trip for 2 people to the Hyundai A-League 2009 Grand Final.    
  • Major prize: during the Hyundai A-League 2009 Finals series, the 5 x monthly winners are voted by viewers for the chance to win a sporty new Hyundai i30 SR.  The winner is announced on Grand Final day. 

SOLUTION 

FOX SPORTS was the perfect platform to reach passionate fans as it’s the only place viewers can watch the Hyundai A-League LIVE & EXCLUSIVE.    

FOX SPORTS integrated the competition across on-air and online with a call to action TVC hosted by Socceroos & Blackburn Rovers legend Robbie Slater. Viewers across the FOX SPORTS platform were driven to the Hyundai website to enter the competition. The competition was included each week in-program during the FOX SPORTS FC magazine show.    

RESULTS
The competition is currently running and the quality of entries has been exceptional, engaging passionate football fans and achieving the outlined objectives.
