Communication Objectives
Subway wanted to communicate their healthy meal options to consumers.  Subway competes in the highly competitive quick service restaurant category and is out spent 3:1 by its competitors.  In light of this, Subway needed an effective and targeted advertising strategy and chose FOX SPORTS as the perfect Channel to convey their message.

Solution
FOX SPORTS created two 30 second content pieces, hosted by FOX SPORTS NEWS presenters Adam Peacock and Nick McArdle. The content shows Subway as a healthy option for those consumers who are busy, active and health conscious. The use of channel talent and co-branded imagery integrated Subway with FOX SPORTS, providing greater relevancy and cut through of their message to a targeted audience.

Results  
Subway will continue the story in 2009 with new content pieces featuring FOX SPORTS talent Adam & Nick.  In addition, Subway will take the content online through www.foxsports.com.au
