Murray joined MCN in August 1999 and was appointed to the position of Research Manager in August 2000, from Research Analyst. In 2001, Murray was appointed to the position of Group Manager - Research & Strategy, heading up the Research & Strategy department.
Prior to MCN, Murray was employed by ACNielsen in Sydney to manage the key accounts of Foxtel & Network TEN. Part of the 5 years with ACNielsen included an 18 month posting in Brisbane as an Account Manager in 1996-1997.
Educated in Sydney, post school studies included a Bachelor of Business (Management), with a double major in Marketing & Tourism.
After completing university, experience was gained in both the Finance & Tourism industries, before the call to Market Research was realised.
