Gerard is the Melbourne General Manager, joining MCN in November 2003. He has seen MCN Melbourne grow dramatically in size and significance in that time.
Gerard was educated in New Zealand, completing a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Management at University of Auckland.
Prior to joining MCN, Gerard worked for Canwest Global (NZ) as Head of Australian Representation, responsible for restructuring both TV and radio representation of Canwest's New Zealand media interests in the Australian market.
Gerard was with the Seven Network in Melbourne, his last role as a Group Sales Manager. Before leaving New Zealand, he worked at TV3 for 3 years, joining as Direct Sales Executive and departing as Senior National Account Manager.
